Congrats… ballsy move to click on this one – no one likes talking about why they are such a pussy at the beginning. Personally, I REALLY hated it, thought I actually had ‘Willpower’ even as a teen, little did I know back then…

Yes, the Feature Image above IS supposed to be mildly disturbing, see this is all about that stand-up, big dog fight that is ‘Will’ vs ‘Willpower’, one that you would do anything to avoid, but with the help of any decent teacher there is really no reason to run…

Yes, there is good news too – DEVELOPING WILLPOWER IS REALLY EASY WHEN YOU REALISE YOU HAVE NONE!

Yes, back then, just like you are now, I was little better than an animal. But then someone taught me WILLPOWER, what you will read below, and slowly but surely I created something in myself I could trust, that ‘knew’ the truth intuitively, so normal life became dull. Ever since then my focus has been on the development of myself and others, for the last 25years no less – that is what I do, this is my path, the reason for my choices, relationships, style, that is the point of me I guess you could say, everything else is ‘beige’, like your mum’s carpets…

Yes… this shit is that bigger deal, as I am actually going to show you what leveling up little ‘animal you’ actually means, practically at the start. See… if YOU are GIFTED you only-ever-really-have-one-fucking-job-in-this-life = LEVEL UP. End of the day it all comes back to that, your conscious level, how ‘quick’ your conscious realization of life IS, how close it is to ‘real time’, or how much you are still, sadly, ‘away with the fairies’, as the Irish say…

Now, one of the many things they did not tell you in school is that WILLPOWER IS CONFIDENCE, and without Confidence, you are a ‘Victim’, scared of every little thing and looking at a life full of this fear or that one, they never go away, indeed they get worse. So to have a ‘normal happy life’ you have to find a way to ‘enjoy’ being a Victim, DELUDE YOURSELF and pretend. And that’s just shit, as the only time you are ever briefly free of these fears is when your Gift steps in to show you what you are naturally good at, what you can DO, what you are ‘confident at’, when you are ‘on your game’ and it all becomes very easy, hence why many of the braver amongst you become Hedonists… Ahhhhhh, you never realized why I only teach Gifted Hedonists in this ‘modern way’ that is our fake ass, social media world? You fool…

See with Confidence you are an ‘Aristo’, without it you are just another gifted ‘Villain’, so its time to start lifting you out of that ‘rats nest’, the sordid mess defined by the cult of the ‘Confidence Trick’, by ‘faking it everyday, as that is the modern way…’ (Sorry Kaiser Chiefs). So know that you CAN NOT FAKE CONFIDENCE, you actually need to HAVE REAL WILLPOWER TO HAVE REAL CONFIDENCE, otherwise, you are just… well, just a ‘Trick’ really. So wouldn’t you like to feel you have your ‘game’ rolling, your mojo working, your buzz on every single min of every day, with no need to do anything to feel that way…?

Then read on, as it really is ‘the only way…. of getting out of here…’ Sorry, again, but know we can actually tell what you were put here, on this earth for, in 3 words… or more… by showing you to ‘yourself’. And that, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, that’s kinda the whole point of this, much as I wish you well with your Tennis Ball in the meantime… Seriously, should you care to watch the video of that song you will see what a little bit of Confidence can look like, as it’s all in the eyes…

So yes, the results of DOING this stuff will blow your mind in the everyday sense, should you be able to do it, but it’s way more important than that – THIS STUFF IS THE NO.1 ENABLER OF DEVELOPMENT, the foundation skill for the Gifted. See, this is a Practical post, an everyday, functional, nuts and bolts post, because we have to tell you, show you, how to DO this in a REAL way, and we have to prove to you that ‘HOW YOU DO’ something is REALLY BLOODY IMPORTANT, as that is what Willpower is actually for…

But there is a small problem, a problem that means this is actually an early version of this stuff – YOU can’t do it CORRECTLY, yet. Yep, your Conscious Level is too LOW – the size, depth and speed of your conscious mind is simply not good enough, hell your thoughts still turn by themselves and you think it’s normal, you have no control, you are still too weak and too stupid. But you need to practice it anyway, as that is the only way you will recognize when you actually have the Level to use it, to use WILLPOWER. In the short term, this means you can learn to catch yourself in the act of doing things automatically and stopping them every now and again, by forcing yourself up to the level of ‘self-consciousness’, for however briefly you can maintain that force. This new level is the focus of the next 3 secrets, but no there is harm in getting used to this now – its a proactive requirement of this system, as to do any of the below you will need to check yourself, watch yourself, whenever you decide to try this…

To set the scene, this post combines x2 aspects of this path that are intimately related – Energy and Willpower. Yes, we are going to add a sprinkle of Desire, as the real trick to consistent Motivation, the pleasure principle, but that is mainly for another time, this is about the directly connected gruesome twosome… We are going to tackle them together, so you understand what is going on, what you need to do differently AND why you need to do it. See, we need you to understand you have No Willpower, then to understand what Willpower actually is, how to develop it, how to use it, and what to use it on…

It’s all very ‘logical’, and easy for you to get, if a bit dull, basic for the likes of us, so hope you don’t mind if we kick it up a notch for this one, hit the gas a bit… See even this uber short version is 20000 words, and we are barely touching on several aspects, but that’s ok, you just need to know the rest of the iceberg is there, at the min you will struggle to get even this summary version so there is no harm in skimming it… That ok?

Great, as this is an information-dense post, we have a lot to get through so we are going to canter through this fast – Willpower = Energy = Effort = Emotion = Progress. Yep… you NEED ENERGY TO ‘DO’ ANYTHING. Without that energy there is no EFFORT to TRY consistently, you are too tired, so you are fucked before you even start, fucked because you DON’T HAVE THE WILLPOWER YOU NEED TO CREATE ENERGY IN ABUNDANCE.

Ok.. first, this is another primer for Deputy Steward, and the second of the matched pair with Overthinking, as these are the 2 things that will stop you from starting to PRACTICE if you don’t become aware of them, understand what they are doing, how they work FOR YOU. I make no apology for using the ancient Greek terms Akrasia (Weakness of Will) and Enkrateia (Willpower = Power Over Yourself) in an area so dominated by modern Zen and Buddhism, you should be getting used to the European version of this by now. However, I will blend all the various traditions together so you can see the whole thing, and understand why the struggle between Animal you and Better you is necessary to create the Energy you need to START, why you have to do it cause without this you GET NOWHERE.

Second, you don’t value yourself as special/different, do you… so you have no motivation, YOU are actually happy living like ‘this’. Even on this path you won’t really start to respect yourself until after you can do stuff that other folks can’t, until you actually evidence the fact you are special, so all you really ever do is follow your everyday, petty animal Wills, because that is all you believe you are. So we have to lift you up out of that shit box and get you STARTED on actual development, so you can actually become Special, and that takes effort = ENERGY that you don’t have because you have NO WILLPOWER. See you think you ‘have’ ‘Willpower’ at times, actual Willpower, your ‘Zhi’ as the Daoists call it, but you don’t, you live way below that, you have lots of little animal wills that compete for your attention, all the bloody time…

BURN THIS INTO YOUR MIND – IF YOU HAVE NO WILLPOWER YOU HAVE NO ENERGY TO CHANGE, TO GO AGAINST YOURSELF, THE ONLY DEFINITION OF WILLPOWER THAT MATTERS. But take ‘heart’, GIFTED folks can fix this shit, with this fab and groovy new thing called ZHI = Willpower, YOUR OWN, INNATE, BORN WITH WILLPOWER, OTHERWISE YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO DO ANY OF THIS, you will remain a SLAVE to the pathetic, needy little animal in you, that is REALLY NOT YOU.

So let’s be clear… the overarching goal of this post is for you to GET how you improve your ENERGY level in order to DEVELOP yourself, BY using your Willpower OVER your animal self TO actually DO ‘Energy work’.

BUT that is not all of it…. See DOING, the ‘process’ of actually Doing stuff is NOT WHAT YOU THINK, so we also have to explain what DOING is for ‘you’, how you currently DO stuff, show you how your personal Gifted style of doing currently dominates you, defines you by its preferred ‘style of activity’, as that is the way your Gift currently wants to work. Once you know this you can then understand how YOU need to ‘DO’ THINGS AT THE START to make it work for you, personally, for any type of activity, as all the types of activities possible need a certain start, middle and end point to work, and your Gifted style of doing will only suit a subset of those possibilities until your Gift is developed. Lastly, we will give you a simple framework for starting to DO energy work, so you can get a flavor of it before the next 3 secrets, nothing too taxing mind, just so you can try what you have learned in this post. help you practice when you have some Willpower, later…

Got that? Awesome… just know that this is not the secret of Deputy Steward, this is not the secret of how to BE that, in the moment, of how to create the Connection… that comes later. So don’t worry that it’s all a bit hard for now, it is.. but only because you can’t do DEPUTY STEWARD, yet, because you have NO WILLPOWER YOU CAN USE.

So let’s not hang around this time, lots to cover, lots of things to fix… a few nice surprises too, here is one now – you ALREADY HAVE THE POTENTIAL FOR REAL WILLPOWER but you DON’T KNOW IT, SO NEVER USE IT, you don’t know what it actually IS, even though it is sitting there, dormant, waiting for you to ‘cop on’. See you don’t know how all this works, you don’t know how to actually use it and you don’t know what to use it FOR. And its actually quite easy, quite painless as you don’t need to change all the little animal things you want to do, you just need to LOOK DOWN ON THEM ALL, then pick a side (even if that is no side at the beginning), decide what you are going to do (even if that is nothing at the beginning), based on what you actually value OVERALL, not just in this little moment of all your little Wills combined. Easy eh?

I know… all this is a problem for you because right now you have no CONTEXT, no sense of how ‘special’ gifted you is, so you have no DESIRE to change as you still think it’s all a medieval fairytale… You just go along with the petty garbage of animal you, every damn day, so ALL YOUR GIFTED ENERGY IS WASTED. You waste your chance at this, you don’t even know what that chance is, the chance to conserve and build your ENERGY TO DO. So Empowering you to Fix the ENERGY issue is what this post is all about, the Desire will come later, and come ‘naturally’, but the key to it is to get used to ‘FEELING’ GIFTED, CONSCIOUSLY, ALL THE DAMN TIME.

But one last thing before we start today then eh, one thing that can make a big difference with HIGHLY personal topics like Willpower and Energy, topics that both define you AND ‘show you up’ – the ‘Safe Space’ approach I use. Yep, in case you are wondering my primary teaching style (and there are many styles) is via the ‘safe space’ I create for the current fragile ‘Ego you’ to learn in, created via ACCEPTING YOU AS A GIFTED HEDONIST, with all your mad little faults, high body counts and fetishized behaviors. This approach is the go-to style of modern talking therapy because it allows you to ‘talk to yourself’ without FEAR, so this is a trusted space because I KNOW YOU, AS I USED TO BE YOU. I normalize what Gifted Hedonists like you DO day to day, explain why you have done it, and in the process remove all the fear of punishment, of ‘shaming you’, of personal criticism, but not because we are ‘fake’ nice, but because we simply don’t care about your current character, no one does, not even you, as you are not worth caring about UNTIL YOU GET SOMEWHERE. Right now, however Gifted you ‘know’ yourself to be, you are just more childish ‘noise’, one more scratchy stray, because you have not yet realized you are ‘safe’ on this path here with us, IF you are indeed gifted…

This ‘scaredy cat’ shit-show you live in, this ‘fear of negative consequences’ that is the day-to-day context of your little life is your current predicament, as it everyone’s at the start – a simple little low wall of doubt in your mind that trips you up, over and over, as it stops you from TALKING ABOUT YOU, keeps you stuck in the ‘rut’. The created mental ‘safety’ of my approach is VERY effective, given you have the ‘sand’ to start because it works better than anything else on the planet…. as sadly nothing else works at all for folks like you, not even a little bit at the start. Sorry, all your current plans to escape yourself are doomed, just like last time, but you should be happy about this because this realization will get you to START… Don’t get me wrong – the ‘drive’ to improve (that you still need) HAS TO COME FROM YOU, but hopefully will come a lot easier from both showing you your ‘potential’ AND knowing your particular GIFT is ‘interesting’ to people with my level of experience of your type – so you can see you are special. Yes, we are not nice, we are not from the legions of ‘good’ little new age cowards who ‘hide out’ in the commercial bandwagon that is ‘social media spirituality’, we actually know what we are doing, so at least you can TRUST US, eh?

Please take a min now to GET THIS, to know you already have ‘money in the bank’, you can afford to be a bit crap at the start, a bit all over the place, a bit edgy and suspicious, a bit (well a lot) embarrassed. Over the years I have seen it all, TRUST ME, so I really don’t care what you have done as I suspect it is not even that interesting, just as long as you want to improve, because that is interesting. Before you read the rest of this post it is a really good idea to TRY AND FEEL THE CONFIDENCE OF THAT, TO RELAX A BIT, and know that I make all this effort with these posts for a REALLY GOOD REASON – YOU ARE WORTH IT, IF YOU CAN DO IT. Obviously, I have to judge you in order for you to improve, and we are not ‘forgiving your sins’ in a Christian sense (much as it is the exact same effect we need), just know that I would not bother my ass with you for more than a minute of my life, even acknowledge your existence, unless you were something special enough to ‘spend’ my EFFORT ON, as, AND TRUST ME in this, that effort doesn’t come cheap. So know now, no matter what you are scared off, KNOW that we simply don’t give a damn about your current character, or lack thereof – THIS IS ABOUT ‘WHAT’ YOU ARE, NOT ‘WHO’ YOU HAVE BECOME BY ACCIDENT.

See… I get that I kinda have to ‘meet you halfway’, as I recognize that it’s not your fault you are weak and stupid… but it is your problem, dumb ass, and the shock of me continually challenging you on these posts IS WHAT YOU NEED TO SEE THAT. If you are comfortable, if you are comforted, if you are content, happy, pleased reading these posts, I have totally failed you.

So, just before we start today, know this – leaving aside all the cliches, the pop culture references, my infamous writing style, even leave aside all this wisdom, both ancient and modern and just KNOW that what separates you from what you want is down to your LEVEL. And everything that keeps you stuck in your comfortable little rut, with people, places and processes you don’t want in your life is down to the exact same lack of LEVEL. If you ever thought this life was a competition then know ‘animal you’ LOST a long time ago, so YOU need to see the only real difference between us, between you and anyone you envy, is their LEVEL. So…. right now, why not do yourself a BIG favor, take a moment to find the self-respect to know when little ‘you’ is BEATEN, and all that’s really left, frankly all that was ever really there to START with, is for ‘Gifted You’ to realize you might actually have some VALUE in this world, after all… That is what I’m trying so very hard to tell you, so believe that, once you have made some progress, even YOU will look back at your old self and wonder how the fuck you managed to live this long…

Finally… the reveal – why all the pre-amble before we start this post…? Simple, the reason I am going on about this, about how special you could be, about the safe space, about the need for trust, about recognizing your animal self is a total bloody failure is that YOU MUST ACCEPT THE NEED TO GIVE UP YOUR ANIMAL WILL BY ACCEPTING THE DISCIPLINE OF DEVELOPMENT TO ACTUALLY ‘MAKE’ THE WILLPOWER YOU NEED, BEFORE YOU EVEN START THIS PROCESS.

Indeed, for the 3 common types of ‘unschooled’ but highly gifted: the Tortured Soul, so utterly fake and opinionated; the Muse, so utterly trivial and lost; the Alpha chick, so utterly dazed and confused, THIS IS THE BIGGEST SINGLE TEST AT THE START. See folks like me often give up on the most highly gifted types simply because they cannot do this, they cannot trust their feelings, or their deeper senses, so it’s over before it began. Frankly, the first time any Hedonist TRIES any kind of development is USUALLY A FAILURE, they always need a couple of goes at it at the start before they can see through their own low-quality B/S, or a couple of big real-world ‘shocks’ maybe. Once you are ‘hooked’ much of this development stuff will happen by itself BUT getting hooked, in a full-on ‘only thing that matters’ type way can take a while, because you NEED EVIDENCE ITS WORKING first, which this system is actually designed to deliver much quicker than any other IF YOU ARE GIFTED.

We know that it is far better to help someone who can be helped at the time, whatever their level, so the teacher code is simple – when I realize they can’t yet DO ANYTHING USEFUL, I smile sweetly, lie to them and send them on their way, before cutting them off entirely. Yes, they may realize one day and come back, in which case you give them a chance, as those are often the BEST candidates – it takes huge strength to go through that and come back, why I do it really, as everything is a lesson for the highly gifted. Yep, folks like me take the long view of life… however, and very sadly, it is usually too late, they are just too clever now, so they can’t get past it, but the point is simple – YOU HAVE TO DO IT, ITS A TEST, ITS ‘THE’ BLOODY TEST. And the ONLY reason its hard is because you are still trying to be ‘right’ all the fucking time, so just accept, NOW, that for this brief part of your day, if only just for the ‘me time’ you are going to DO development in, that you didn’t know shit then, and you don’t know shit now – you are a fucking ‘hamster on the wheel’ of all your petty Wills, that is all.

So you must ask yourself, CAN I GIVE UP MY OWN OPINION AND BE HELPED, can I take a blowtorch to the bars of my cage, to my ever so many little animal wills, or do I just go on pretending that I can leave any time I like? Can you even suspend your precious little judgment while you read the rest of this post? No.. so stop reading now please, good luck for the future hun, say you will need it.

Ahhh… it’s a YES? great… WELCOME TO THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, and know I am here to help YOU as I understand you better than ‘you’ do at the min, so take a moment to feel good about that and COMMIT TO IT before you READ ON. This shit is important beeyatches, indeed this shit may even make you BRAVE enough to deal with the big things you are currently so paralyzed by, things that you HAVE TO DEAL WITH, as they are the core of your life-defining problem, of that tedious ‘little curse’ that controls you…

Please just keep in mind what you have just read, that I have challenged you to try and make SELF-WILL your servant, rather than your master, for this brief period. So you must do your best to do what you are told, follow what you read, not what you want to do or think out of OPINION, desire or avoidance of fear, WHICH IS EVERYTHING ELSE. To make Self-Will your servant, your slave, is what real WILLPOWER looks like…

Key Lesson – You must learn to develop the Energy to DO, day to day, at the start, as it’s the only way you can start. You DO this by conserving yourself in your normal activities so you can save, store and use as much of your power of spirit ON DEVELOPING YOURSELF. So you must stop wasting it on crap, unpleasant, pointless crap at that. See in truth that is what ALL SPIRITUAL morality is about, it only became a structure of Law and Order when it was simplified and given to normal people, who act live animals and therefore NEED a form of social control, hence your society you have now. Gifted folks who have developed themselves don’t need to do that shit BUT they do need to conserve themselves, then control themselves with a formal aim ‘in mind’. The only way you can achieve this conservation of yourself, your Energy, is through the development and use of your dormant WILLPOWER, part of the birthright of the gifted to overpower and direct all your petty little animal Wills, which have NO right to control your life. We need to show you how to choose between the stupid little pussy that is animal you and REAL you.

Yep…Willpower, in the spiritual, actual sense of it, is part of the birthright of the Gifted – YOU ALREADY HAVE IT. But you don’t know that yet, do you… because you can’t START, you can’t begin seriously, consistently… you are just interested, and hoping somewhere along the line someone will just do all this gifted stuff ‘to you’. And they can.. it is just that ‘someone’ has to be a new and shiny part of you, called Deputy Steward… So now we need to get that part of you ‘off the ground’ even before it starts to happen naturally, we need to force it with some external Discipline, just for a little while, get you off that fucking chair…

Now… have you ever wondered why all these ancient spiritual traditions enforce a formal discipline, the total control of a Monastic, Zen environment, where every little thing is based on rules, on strict guidelines for every daily activity? Its to develop the actual Willpower you need to produce the Energy required to develop yourself. We don’t teach Monks and Nuns on this 4th way, we teach Hedonists, so we use Deputy Steward as our Monastry, as the disciplined place of practice, the mindstate you need to use to do development, as we know you don’t have the time or inclination to give up your whole life for this stuff at the start (unless you are desperate). So we have to find a way this can work for you, we have to Do the Willpower thing in a totally different way, indeed the original ancient Greek way…

See, your Deputy Steward HAS Willpower, to be honest at the start Deputy Steward actually IS Willpower, its a part of you that can actually DO stuff, it can actually START, while little old animal you can never do this by yourself. See we all had problems with STARTING, and the main one is called ‘Animal Level Will’, as that is the ONLY level of will available at your current level of consciousness… And that is shit, short-term, reactive, transient, never-the-same-2-mins-running type of Will…

BUT THAT IS NOT WILLPOWER.. not even close – you don’t have ANY willpower in your current state. See Willpower is actually the feeling of ‘Certainty’, much as some people (well me..) prefer ‘Confidence’ as opposed to doubt, what spiritual folks mean when they tell you ‘Confidence is everything at the start’, rather than the charming, fake, conman meaning Confidence has in the social media age we live in, which is actually ‘Over Confidence’. Real Confidence is the feeling you can ‘muster’, ‘evoke’, when you NEED to do something important at first, and much later all the bloody time. Willpower is not the result of the argument (that’s your momentary Will), Willpower is the 3rd force in yourself you use to DECIDE ‘which Will wins’ the argument in the context of the real you, the Aristocratic you, your ‘Best Self’, and then moves on – see Willpower does not give a fuck about the argument, Willpower is above all that petty noise, hell most of the time Willpower does not bother its ass with your momentary shit, it just tells you all to ‘shut up and fuck off…’.

Get this – WILL AND WILLPOWER ARE LITERALLY DIFFERENT THINGS, separated by an entire level of consciousness. Willpower is something grown-ups have, children are just ‘Willful..’.

Yep, Willpower is basically a FEELING, a solid, secure and powerful feeling, you point at stuff once you have decided that is what you want… But, your simple little animal Will is simply the vector sum of all your little desires and aversions ‘at that moment’, a needle on a compass swinging around wildly like a rev counter on a F1 car. Even when its stable for a bit its often points you at an aim you are NOT EVEN AWARE OF, as this summation heads off god knows where (often cancels each other out so nothing happens at all), and even if it does point at something (eg today’s failure) it won’t last long, on average about 3mins. Yep, think about that for a moment, what does it mean to you…

Indeed, to DO anything hard, consistently (that needs a lot of Energy) you usually need a huge EXTERNAL push, don’t you.. SOMETHING ELSE HAS TO DECIDE FOR YOU. You are bloody hopeless, some of you (often the most highly Gifted but utterly ‘lost’ spiritually speaking) have such weak, multiple little wills that even small groups of ‘other’ people can basically make you do anything at any moment –  see you actually like the feeling of this external discipline because it has a BIG spiritual aspect you are unaware of, whatever it is actually about, however it is currently used against you by the parasites of the world.

So let’s be clear, Animal Level Will NEVER DECIDES anything ‘once and for all’, those pros and cons just go on battling it out, constantly, so eventual failure is inevitable. And not just for simple things, ‘diet over the ice cream’ things, I mean everything, big-ticket items, life decisions. But actual Willpower does not work like that – WILLPOWER is VERY DIFFERENT, ‘YOU’ DON’T ARGUE, YOU DON’T CRITICISE YOURSELF, YOU JUDGE, THEN WILLPOWER DECIDES BY FOCUSING ON AN DEFINITE AIM. It is a 2 stage process… but you never get past the arguing stage, do you, over and over again, about the same damn shit, so you just drift around like a messy bitch…

So, you need to understand your existing Will is NOT WILLPOWER, its not even in the same league… your existing WILL is a factor of your current level of consciousness, no matter how gifted you are in reality, you are still just sitting there, mostly harmless, clueless, feckless, gutless because ANIMAL WILL IS SHIT – what did you expect, its for animals. Yep, all of you are different, but you are all basically animals, so you have no WILLPOWER, no matter what has motivated you to read this stuff, it’s not willpower, you are not doing anything, it’s passive – Willpower is active, willpower is winning the challenge, it’s not driven by Fear or Self Interest, it’s not trying to just survive by comforting yourself, by the expectation of Pain if you don’t, or Reward if you do – that is how animals live.

For the gifted actual Willpower looks at all that shit and then DECIDES – ONCE. See, you are NOT an animal, unlike most people, you are gifted, SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO LIVE LIKE ONE, do you? But you CHOOSE to, hell half your thinking is simply revisiting the same old decisions you thought you made years ago…

Ahhhh… you think you DO have willpower in some way because you reading this… because you are INTERESTED…? Nope… See the gifted hedonists (who have not become desperate yet) of the world develop an ‘interest’ in developing themselves via 1 of the 3 ways… 1: many moderately gifted types stop enjoying hedonism, but they don’t know why, so often think they have got bored with it, or want something more now, which are both crap – they have actually started to sense their powers are declining BECAUSE of hedonism, you sense of the ‘loss’ every time you do it, its has weakened you enough to notice. 2: for the highly gifted, they have an accidental experience, usually via hedonism, that interests or scares them, that seems highly linked but separate to the hedonism itself, what that behavior is caused by, what it is really about, which is crap – your essence has actually intervened directly and given you a slap, shouted ‘I’m over here you stupid dick’, usually via another gifted person. 3: for low levels of gift, they just get old, and can no longer DO hedonism to any level, they become crap at it in their own eyes, but remember the glory days and want to try and ‘get that back’, which is crap – you have noticed, often even when still young, you have already maxed out your small gift, and you are becoming ‘normal’, boring, the magic of you has gone, and you ‘hate it’.

And ALL 3 of you are right, they are ALL good reasons to start and STOP running away, signs that its time to practice, to become what you are supposed to be, but there is a problem, and a big one at that… Yes, you want to make a change NOW, to start to practice, but you can’t can you… you are stuck, trapped in your own little ‘mess’ BECAUSE YOU HAVE NEVER DEVELOPED YOUR WILLPOWER PASSED THE ANIMAL LEVEL…

See right now, all 3 types of you above are stuck in what I call the Fools Dilemma – you want to start but you can’t because you have NO REAL WILLPOWER TO CREATE THE ENERGY YOU NEED TO START. You just act on the basis of a momentary sum of factors, one day this desire is stronger, one day that fear is dominant etc etc ETC. So the only fucking thing you can do is read about it, and after a while you actually start thinking that reading is TRYING. Bad news – YOU ARE A FOOL, you are not doing shit, you are trapped – you are just imagining this stuff when you read, having a fantasy of a ‘Better You’, while still being stuck as ‘Shit You’.

Ok, I know you think you have willpower sometimes, but you don’t really do you, you have what we call ‘Self-Will’ and/or ‘Willfulness’. Self Will is willpower in relation to what happens to you, as a pattern matched reaction, will as a form of disagreement, you only ever respond to conditions, without it you are paralysed. Willfulness is associated with the animal level of consciousness, as you ONLY chase Fear and Self Interest, interspersed with long periods of zoning out in some pathetic level of comfort, you are entitled, delusional, opinionated, you talk bollocks you don’t even think about before you say it… You must get these are NOT WILLPOWER – ACTUAL WILLPOWER ONLY EVER COMES FROM BEING ABLE TO DO ANYTHING ‘ANIMAL YOU’ DON’T ‘WANT’ TO DO, AND IS NOT A REACTION TO SOMETHING ELSE. OK?

Got that..? We have to teach you how to have ACTUAL willpower and then use it to control ANIMAL will, which is not actually willpower at all in any meaningful sense, in the sense you think you have it, that you decide and carry out your decision. So this post is FUNCTIONAL IN NATURE and it covers several low-level aspects of this path, none of which are actually that compelling. I’ve already touched on all of them but now you need to know how to use them… therefore its handled in a particular way as usually, such topics are tacked onto way more interesting ones, so they have a group impact as part of a bigger Secret, help burn them into your pattern collection. But for this one, I’m going to combine several such small topics together to make it more interesting, so you VALUE IT at the correct level, as you really need to – YOU NEED TO SEE YOUR CURRENT, PATHETIC, NEEDY, SEEDY, WEEDY ANIMAL VALUES ARE FUCKING YOUR LIFE UP. And you need to REALISE these momentary, temporary little multiple ‘wills’ will stop any hope for you ever being better. And I mean EVER – they cannot change by themselves, YOU have to change them, via using your WILLPOWER correctly…

So this is not the Secret of Deputy Steward, of what it is, a higher state of consciousness, this is How YOU Use it, all the time – these Topics make up the basics of what Deputy Steward (DS) DOES, so they fit well together in this post, much as they are only really related by that in themselves. See managing DS well at the start has a DRAMATIC effect on how fast this development stuff goes for you, as managing DS well at the beginning defines how much you DO IT. So we are going to replace your animal values with the single real VALUE THAT IS THE DISCIPLINE OF PRACTICE FOR IT OWN SAKE – FOR THE SAKE OF DEVELOPING WILLPOWER, to work for NO momentary reward. Yep, you need to know your life is defined by the values of a fat, ugly, diseased sewer rat, and trust us to help you follow that vague feeling you already have that your life should be WAY FUCKING BETTER THAN THIS REPETITIVE LOAD OF BOLLOCKS…

Really good idea to practice that a little first then, don’t you think, get used to this stuff..?

Yep, of course, at the start DS is your mainly your ‘Study Buddy’, your internal development tutor, who encourages you to work BUT you must also start to use it all the time in life as a replacement for other parts of you that are no bloody use anymore. These are the feckless parts of you and THEY HAVE TO GO.. the lazy, unfocused, zoned out, useless, screen-watching moron, led around by your B/S patterns. The BIT that DOES and IS nothing, the bit you don’t remember, the bit that just wants COMFORT. You need a proactive tool to use against those bits, that catches you in the act and stops, guides, and hence improves you, little by little – DS.

HOWEVER… don’t get it twisted, this post details why we need to you develop WILLPOWER ASAP to fix the no1 thing you are getting wrong if you already meditate – YOU DO NOT MANAGE YOUR ENERGY, HENCE YOUR FOCUS AND HENCE YOUR EXPECTATION – SO YOU NEVER GET ANYWHERE. See DS has to think a bit differently to DO this, it has to CONTROL YOU in a mechanical sense, as a habit, as a reaction you need to BURN INTO YOURSELF – we use your existing shitty pattern matching way of thinking against itself. Clever eh?

See, the vast majority of folks meditate or only really do anything spiritual when they are TIRED because they think meditation is in some way part of that, like a better form of rest, or a way to recharge. Hell they even go on retreats when they are run down, sick or emotionally upset in some way, trying to ‘get better’, or some shit like that… AND THAT IS REALLY BLOODY STUPID – you associate your practice with a form of failure before you have even started, you start in a low-energy state and just drift around in your head, and you wonder why it does nothing..?!? In reality, ANY spiritual practice NEEDS YOUR BEST DAY, because you HAVE TO GET BETTER EVERY TIME YOU DO IT. It needs your maximum level of force to be used against the ‘obstacles in your path’, like everything else in real life. See, the real practice is not only actually just like real life, IT ACTUALLY IS REAL LIFE. But in the West now any development is treated like Sunday school, a moral add-on, help you deal with your mental health etc etc.

So be very clear now – 4th Way Spiritual practice is for SERIOUS people who are prepared to TRY, people who seek to evolve past their current limitations and be better, to the point that you become a whole other person.. And I mean that. It is not therapy, it is not relaxation, it is NOT A PLEASANT W/E BREAK, A HOLIDAY FROM YOURSELF. Spiritual practice may well be a method, a way to ‘find yourself’, however that is at a level of meaning you simply don’t understand at this point – it is not about saving the world, choosing a new career, finding a life partner or being a good person. That’s all New Age crap… what we teach here is a form of forced evolution for Aristocrats, its ancient, powerful and it WORKS, should you be gifted.

Its important to understand this CLEARLY because this b/s recreational ‘style’ issue has dramatically affected most paths in the modern age, many of them have fallen into the once-a-week class, or w/e away format, so they have become partial and bland, designed to be a type of vacation. They are utterly useless because of that, but way worse this is the pattern you have in your mind for spiritual practice now, it is a HOBBY. It’s not… So the real point of this post is simple – you must completely change your attitude toward your development, it did not stop at school or college, you are doing it right now, reading this, however you classify it. It is THE ONLY THING THAT REALLY MATTERS, so you must take it SERIOUSLY. See one of the key classifications we use on this path is if you are Serious, if you are prepared to put the effort in and do the work. If you are not you are wasting your time, as no matter how gifted you are you will get NOWHERE fast, and everything will remain accidental. And that ‘accidental path’ is what will kill you, one day, as accidental death for the gifted types is always a lot closer to you, every day, than you think…

BE CLEAR BEFORE WE MOVE ON – ACTUAL WILLPOWER IS A LEVEL ABOVE WHAT YOU CURRENTLY THINK IS WILLPOWER. See actual willpower is a 3rd force that totally overpowers all you petty animal crap, all you pros and cons, it just laughs at them bitches and does whatever it ALREADY KNOWS IS BEST – ACTUAL WILLPOWER DECIDES AND DOES IT. And at the start that is usually just to stop you doing stupid, self-destructive crap that is stopping your development… see that is why we need you to get this, that’s why it becomes the bedrock of Deputy Steward, that’s the bloody point. 

Crucially… unless you know why and how to fix it THERE IS NO WAY OUT, as fixing this one is particularly counterintuitive – TO DEVELOP ZHI YOU MUST STOP TRYING TO USE YOUR OWN PATHETIC, MULTIPLE LITTLE ‘WILLS’ TO DECIDE, YOU MUST GIVE UP THE IDEA OF YOUR OWN WILL AND ACCEPT THE DISCIPLINE OF AN EXTERNAL SYSTEM IN ORDER TO DEVELOP YOUR OWN ZHI, DAY BY DAY – ACTUAL WILL POWER. Indeed, many highly gifted folks unconsciously know this, and tend to seek out external discipline in life, they enjoy the feeling of it, but this tends to end badly, as it attracts parasites… 

Yep, you cannot work on this directly as it is directly linked to your existing level, as using your existing WILL TO DEVELOP IT ACTUALLY MAKES IT EVEN WEAKER. BUT YOU CAN WORK ON THEM INDIRECTLY – using x3 core skills related to what this new part of yourself is going to actually DO, day to day, as OPPOSED to giving in to YOUR Akrasia – your weakness of will, which at your level of consciousness means NO WILLPOWER. BUT ZHI is something ‘extra’, a thing in itself, it has a quantity, it can be grown and grown if you follow a basic discipline.

This is what the Secret of Deputy Steward IS the discipline to practice in a very specific way ALL THE TIME. Following those ways you will not only Develop your feeling of Confidence (Willpower) you will also develop Consciousness and Connection, you also need to GROW DS, more and more into your life in time, rather than just when you practice. But this is for next time…

See the reason Discipline works is that is grows actual Willpower through the rejection of your animal Wills in order to DO something else, which is exactly what you want to do, but in a very simple, easy-to-understand way – you reject any opposition to the discipline because you know that simple ‘act’ of rejection is good for you, which in itself is Willpower. And its grows, every time you stick to the external discipline that ‘ability’, that state of mind that overrides your petty animal Wills, becomes more and more Willpower, ACTUAL Willpower at the right level, JUST AS LONG AS THAT DISCIPLINE IS GOOD FOR YOU IN THE LONG RUN, but IT IS NOT the discipline enforced on you by fear, as that is the same bloody Will acting on you, you miss the point, and fail that way. The discipline is the foundation of Deputy Steward, of the Aristocrat in you, looking to improve themselves… Got that? Good Discipline builds YOUR WILLPOWER, IT ACTUALLY DEVELOPS CONSCIOUSLY, LITTLE BY LITTLE, BY FOLLOWING EXTERNAL DISCIPLINE, NOT YOUR OWN ANIMAL WILL, understand?

The first types of practise we are going to give you in the next 3 secrets include everything you need to do this, but in the meantime…. its a REALLY good idea to train your Willpower first, BY YOURSELF, using basic, easy exercises. Yep, you need create an external discipline that for a set period of time you follow, and do exactly what it wants, NOT WHAT YOU WANT. You can pick anything you like but its crucial to get the method straight so I’ll give you a couple of modern illustrations. You pick ONE method and you do it at least once a day, preferably multiple times a day. Importantly, if you have ever been taught the Buddhist versions of this, like breath counting or imaginary counting DON’T DO THESE, as these methods are much less effective at the start for modern people.

First is the easiest, if slightly mad, version, so beloved of Gurdjieff… the stop/start motion as we call it. Put on the radio or some music and pick a keyword or sound, and whenever you hear it STOP and freeze stock still for 3secs (count to 3 in your head), then go right back to what you were doing. Alternatively, whenever you hear a particular melody or beat in the music to a very short dance move or step for 3secs, then go right back to what you were doing. One version of this I was taught was every time a radio presenter said the word ‘the’ or ‘and’ I froze, but modern folks tend to like the music one better, just remember the step seq precisely and don’t deviate from it, don’t go on after the 3secs, that is the discipline.

The second is a more formal, forced approach, for those who are already able to get into this, ie you already ‘like’ external discipline, no matter how distorted this has become for you – Learn a new language (you don’t need to learn for any other reason), using the repetitive ‘listen and repeat’ method. You can learn anyone you like, but try and stick to Romance languages particularly if English is your native tongue, with Italian being the poster boy, but French and Spanish are fine. Set a time limit and sit down BY YOURSELF and do exactly what the spoken instructions tell you to do. It is important that the discipline does not ‘know you are there’, following it, otherwise your identification with your animal self will affect it…

YOU MUST STICK TO THE TASK FOR THE TIME LIMIT SET FOR THIS TO WORK, no matter how boring, how painful, how inconvenient it becomes, so start with 5min and work up to 30mins, try and use dead time, like solo travel if you can, invent your own method if that helps. DON’T try anything complicated like set a new fitness regime or anything meaningless like getting up an hour earlier to do email shit, that is pointless. Don’t get someone else to try and control you for 30mins, as that DOES NOT WORK unless they are a teacher of this method – you must do this privately, otherwise it is all your petty animal will or someone else’s, and you are right back to ZERO. Ok?

After a week or 2 you should notice you become, you specifically FEEL a little more ‘Confident’ in making decisions, not because they are right/wrong, good/bad, but because you feel more CONFIDENT that you will stick to it even if the decision is stopping a big animal desire or overriding a BIG animal fear, that you make them quickly and DON’T FUCKING REVISIT THEM, ie you can stop thinking about it and just do it. Its a strange feeling but when it starts to come after your practice for a while just ‘go with it’ in your mind.

Ahhh I hear you cry, YOGA! – ever wondered why you feel slightly more ‘confident’ after a good, hard, disciplined yoga class led by a good instructor, however briefly, before you go right back to the animal will of chatting bollocks to your friends and having a coffee? Its because it works on your Willpower. However, there are issues, particularly the once-a-week thing (needs to be at least once a day), and most Yoga classes are made really easy (has to be new or difficult). If you are going to use YOGA for this then do it by yourself in front of a screen, a class on Youtube is ideal, particularly a live stream, but make it hard, follow it exactly and have NO DISTRACTIONS for the time you set out. You must use the external discipline by FOLLOWING the external discipline EXACTLY to develop the willpower you are really going to need to develop yourself, ok? If you HAVE to go to a class, then go to a BIG one where you blend in, and stay at the middle or back, I mean 20+ people, don’t chat to others, don’t smile and flirt, focus on YOURSELF, on the ASANAS, and for other reasons, try and do it OUTSIDE.

Right now that is all for willpower – promise you if you stick at it it will change your whole tedious existence for the better… Right now we need to cover something as is important, as it is the next step in the Willpower journey – HOW you USE your newfound Willpower, going forward, directly in relation to Deputy Steward, TO BUILD YOUR ENERGY SO YOU CAN MAKE EFFORTS.

So here we go – step 2… What you use Willpower for…

Ahhh, but to do this we FIRST need to explain how your Gifted Self does stuff, your ‘Activity Style’, HOW IT WANTS TO ACT- this is how your Gift wants to FEED. It is not why you do stuff but HOW you do stuff, usually inherited from the source of your Gift, but sometimes developed differently in childhood if you had a lot of ‘change’ to cope with. Activity styles are how the natural energy of your Gift NORMALLY works UNCONCIOUSLY, so only gifted folks have them, with one of the main 4 ways predominating, defining how you ‘are’. You are not aware of your activity style, as it is totally normal for you, and therefore you tend to thnk everyone is like that too, but they are not. Normal folks are slaves, sheep, and therefore learn by imitation through their childhood, by being forced to wear countless little masks, play little roles, that they slowly ‘become’, so have no stable sense of themselves, good to bad, they are totally reliant on how the world treats them. Gifted folks do have a perm sense of themselves, as gifted folks are defined by their GIFTS preferred activity style, and they are stuck with it for life, much as they can bring in the other styles with practice when they need to.

Now there are a massive number of ways this type of style thing is illustrated in the world today, every HR department has chosen this one or that to define its workforce, both ancient and modern, but I’m not going to name them, or use someone else’s as it important you see this as totally separate – this is the spiritual version, not the self-help/organizational excellence version, make you work better as a sheep, that you fake and lie about to appear better. This version is designed to make you work better as you, for your own development – TO BECOME WHO YOU ARE. Therefore you will see it is written very differently…

You need to find yourself here in the 4 styles below (much as there are others they are much rarer), as this is based on what causes you to DO what you DO, NATURALLY, it is how you actually ‘are’, because one of these 4 specific ways will be the way your Gift prefers to manifest itself, day to day – you act like this because, in the moment of action, it gives you ‘pleasure’, whether that is relief from tension or actual visceral thrills – and Pleasure leads to background DESIRE = REPEAT MOTIVATION. You will have one main one and one secondary one (much less common), with the other x2 being undeveloped, cause all your gift goes through the main and secondary ones.

1st PHYSICAL ENERGY – Want to Move = You naturally want to express yourself Physically, you DO/WORK. 

2nd MENTAL ENERGY – Want to Imagine = You naturally want to express yourself Creatively, you CREATE/THINK. 

3rd CONTROLLING ENERGY – Want to Accomplish = You naturally want to express yourself Instinctively, you DIRECT/COMPETE. 

4th EMOTIONAL ENERGY – Want to Feel = You naturally want to express yourself Emotionally, your FANTASIZE/ARGUE

Now, this is a huge topic and we are only touching on this today as you must understand there are some things YOU CANNOT CHANGE IN YOURSELF AND NEED TO ACCEPT AND MANAGE. Indeed, trying to change anything associated with your Gifted style of activity is the NO.1 reason for failure on this path, but it’s easy to avoid when you know it.

So there is no good or bad in this, and ultimately you will need to learn to be all 4, but right now you are led by one WHEN YOU ACTUALLY DO ANYTHING – ONE TYPE OF GIFTED ENERGY DOMINATES YOU, with a lesser undeveloped one that you still use. You must figure out what that is, and USE IT for the below. To note all animals have no set style and are blown in the wind of the external world, however if they are successful in life they always tend to act INSTINCTIVELY, to compete, direct, and CONTROL, as that is the lowest level of energy and the only one available to them. Instinct is what animals really are, obviously, but it is very rare for Gifted types to be dominated by the instinctive activity style, and tends to happen for only for very low levels of gift, that are not strong enough to break through it, just know that it is an aberration and can be fixed. Higher levels of Gift are always one of the other 3, with female Hedonists usually being 4/1 or a 4/2, and male Hedonists being 1/4 or 1/3

Obviously the societal pressures of the world push against this, usually pushing the  3/1 model for men and 2/4 model for women to be ‘good’ people, which still predominate but these often conceal the truth in the Gifted, particularly highly gifted women who have to conceal themselves from an early age, so try and take off the masks you were taught to wear as children, see passed what you have BECOME, and look for what you ARE, which is always reflected at what you are good at.. You will be surprised just how many women are more ‘Alpha’ in their attitudes to sex, drugs and rock and roll than most men these days, and how many men have had their idea of being a man so distorted that they no longer know how to actually do it, they are weak. Our current phase of society glorifies aggressive women which really helps the gifted, but scolds aggressive men which really does not, so the next time anyone accuses you of ‘toxic masculinity’ punch them in the face, for the comedy value if nothing else – know that the current social media morality, ‘commercial morality’ is all total BOLLOCKS and you should not listen to a word of it…

You must find your natural activity style and make peace with it – it is part of who you really are. To help with this if you can ask anyone to tell you ‘how you are’ OR folks say you behave exactly the same as a parent then it is often quicker and more precise. For example, I am a 1/4, DOER from my father’s side with Emotion as my strong secondary role from my mothers gifted side. Thought I was a thinker from being good a school, much as I had a really bad temper which I taught myself to control, but its very hard to decide this for yourself. Like many others I had to quickly teach myself to organize, to think, as I needed to escape my family fate, and it’s only looking back that I realize it did not come naturally. These days the only one I work on is Creativity, as I have to push that one to use it. Please do not fall into stereotypes or fantasies here, you really don’t know this consciously, so don’t rely on some test you took at work which you lied on or some bollocks folks tell you to manipulate you – figure it out for yourself.

The whole Willpower to Energy thing will go a lot quicker for you if you figure out HOW YOU ALREADY USE YOUR GIFT NATURALLY AND STICK TO THAT CORE SKILL – WHAT GIFTED YOU IS BEST AT. See, this is how your Gifted Self currently works, it is your ‘Game’, your Best self, even if that Best Self is actually used to do stupid shit.

So why have  I told you this? Simple…. you must understand that creating Willpower allows you to create Energy TO DO, to change, BUT you must also understand your gifted activity style DOMINATES THAT PROCESS AT THE START. Yep ever wondered why you are good at some stuff and crap at others, it’s because your GIFTED activity style suits the way certain activities have to work, and not others. Yes, all gifts fall into certain categories, both innately and what you have done with them thus far in your life, but right now all you need to know is what your ‘best self is good at’, and use that activity style, your ‘Game’, when you select the particular practical methods to develop, from the range of several I always give you, as I to try and ensure we have a solution for everyone here, rather than fall into the no.1 teacher trap of just giving you what works for me…

So we need to move on now to what you will use these newfound skills on, how you practice for the purpose of DEVELOPMENT, by learning what ‘DOING’ ACTUALLY IS.

Next… we have to cover something else in order to combine it with the above, very briefly, that defines the way things happen in this world, what some call Triads – the multiple combinations of the 3 forces YOU NEED to achieve anything. I have touched on this many times in other posts but we need to bring it together now and focus on the new force you are going to use – Willpower as THE 3rd Force for REAL change in your life.

The 3 forces are universal and reach into anything, but in the sense of this post it is best to define them simply as: 

  • First, the active force that ‘pushes’, your Animal Will to TRY TO DO
  • Second, the passive force that ‘resists’, your Animal Will to TRY TO NOT DO
  • Third, the deciding force, your WILLPOWER which acts as a catalyst to produce a RESULT 

Now, much as its obvious with some thought you must get that these are forces to DO, to act, they are not goals in themselves, they are not the problem you have identified, they are what you DO because of the Desire that has created the problem at an animal level – so a goal for a starving Fox is to Eat today, but the forces deployed are actually about the identifying the problem as to why you can’t eat, then the possible solution, then the deciding factor – what is STOPPING you from getting food (eg you are too slow as food to fast), then TRYING to get food (eg deciding to stalk slower food in this location), and how you actually get food in the end (eg no prey shows up, so you wander around and find discarded human food in same location). Forces ACT (even if they are passive/resistant it’s still an ACT of resistance), they do not ponder, they do not imagine, they do not daydream, that ‘overthinking’ bollocks is the process of No Force, no result.

Be clear, in this sense your new Willpower is ALWAYS the deciding force, NOT YOUR ANIMAL WILLS and here in lies the problem. You don’t have any Willpower, so the result of every ACT you DO happens by accident, by other 3rd Forces you are unaware of (like the Fox above), or usually NOTHING happens at all (Fox starves today), there is no result, it CHANGES NOTHING THAT IS NOT ALREADY HAPPENING. See you do not bring any catalyst to the table of your decisions, as you make them in the sense of the motivation ‘to act against an obstacle’, but then rely on forces 1 and 2 fighting it out, so nothing really happens, no firm result is produced on purpose, or a totally random result occurs, that you don’t even really notice. YOU MUST INTRODUCE THE 3RD FORCE IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE ANYTHING.

Now this seems quite straightforward, as part of the willpower discussion above and it is… but the combination of these 3 forces is NOT straightforward, as there are actually 6 variants of them that you could use IN SEQUENCE – what the forces you choose to use in what ORDER. Right now the seq you use all the time is the animal seq, so is always force 2 (identified passive obstacle), leads to 1 (force to act on that obstacle to destroy it) leads to 3 (catalyst to combine those forces as a result), but usually you have no 3, so nothing happens. You don’t even realize you do this as you think that is all there is, but that is not true, there are WAY better ways to TRY ACTIVITY than this animal shit, which is all about Kill or Be Killed, Eat or Die, Fight or Flight (the Fox example above). Indeed, this 2-1-3 pattern is referred to as the pattern of last resort by many 4th wayers, it is used for violence, war, and crime – in itself it works best to DESTROY things, it is not supposed to be used to achieve positive things, growth or change, as it requires either luck or large catalysts (ie the Fusion Bomb example I have used in other posts) to work, and so often relies on massive External 3rd Forces to achieve ANY result, such as War.

Now, this is way too complex a topic for this post to go into detail for all the other 5 seq of forces applied to activity, but it is important to understand in this sense that your Willpower is the ONLY 3rd force you can use for change to DEVELOP yourself and that your obstacle-led thinking is deadly for everyday changes and activities. It is the reason you fail, as you always start by focusing on what you don’t have WHICH STRENGTHENS THE FORCE OF THE PROBLEM, by phrasing the issue that way you are literally trying to fail, right at the start – you the Fox literally gets slower and your Prey gets faster IN YOUR MIND.

So with our focus on Willpower in this post the key take out are simple – YOU MUST ALWAYS START YOUR ACTIVITY SEQ WITH THE 3RD FORCE, THEN THE 1st FORCE AND LAST THE 2ND. Much as this will be explained later, you have to start with a Positive desire to change, then follow ways you can make that change, and then overcomes the resistance to that change at the end, which at the last step is MUCH EASIER THAN AT THE FIRST – GET IT? That is how everything works in our world, you are not at war with yourself, you love yourself and want to make yourself better, you are not trying to destroy yourself, little by little.

So when you are trying to develop you must train yourself to think of the 3-1-2 seq of forces as they come into play, as a process, NOT 2-1-3, as that WON’T WORK – 2-1-3 for you means you are simply trying to open a locked door by banging on it cause you have no fucking idea where the key is.. Got that? 2-1-3 is for crime, murder, killing stuff, its for animals. 3-1-2 is for positive change as it develops momentum at every step – first find the key to the Door, then unlock the door, and then stop it from being closed (Duh… open it). This is mind magic, and it works – START WITH THE CATALYST, DON’T LOOK FOR IT AT THE END, and that means you always ask WHY at the start of any activity so you can structure it in SEQUENCE – find the key to the door FIRST, trying to kick it in is a fools errand as it locks you into negative patterns so YOU CAN NEVER FIND THE KEY, so something else will literally have to help you externally, just like Mr Fox, much as 999/1000 times nothing else CAN help you…

I know you will find it difficult to ‘see’ these forces correctly at first, you will confuse negative and positive things together. You will also tend to start from previous failure or too narrow a goal like ‘going to the gym’ instead of ‘getting fit’ because your level is crap and you are so used to the 2-1-3 style of activity that it is hard to break. You need to practice, often just to prevent a previously failed Goal from failing again as you are too dumb to change it, so you HAVE to define it differently, in better terms to be worth TRYING AGAIN – it is a question of refinement of your thought process. So always try and present THE real, higher level goal of activity overall, and never in terms of HOW you or others normally achieve that goal – GOALS are always a WHY, NEVER A HOW, a goal is not a ‘process’, a goal is an aim, to ‘look better’.

The best way is to step back, reset the goal at a high level and Ask what is the easiest or most pleasurable way to achieve this goal, as you learn to ADD DESIRE TO YOUR NEW GOAL, and you must BREAK THE HABIT OF SETTING NEGATIVE PATTERNS AT THE START OF ANY PLAN OF ACTIVITY AS IT LOCKS YOU INTO FAILURE.

Understand this – once you have failed to go to the gym a few times you actually HAVE TO REPLACE THE DEFN OF THE PLAN FOR THAT GOAL, as you patterns have already won – any mention of Gym equals failure until you have left it alone for a while… Therefore instead of the goal of getting fit starting with ‘trying to go to the gym but I don’t want to’, or starting the process with ‘I am too tired to go, and I hate it’, with just a pathetic little voice saying ‘but I need to look hot and I’m getting old’ against it, you should pause and say ‘what the fuck am I actually trying to get out of this?’. So here is a basic animal trick to do this at your current level – you HAVE to start with resetting your goal as the most PLEASURABLE and/or easiest way to get fit and look hot, and you will all kinds of catalysts pop into your mind – from going out and posing in new hot gym bunny gear while swimming/running/yoga, and then add the positive force of going with your friends, giving you enough momentum to get past the tedious need to organize it and hence overcome the 2nd passive force very easily. See your actual secret (even to yourself) goal is to ‘Look Hot’, so why not combine actually getting positive feedback FOR looking hot (what looking hot actually feels like) with the process of ‘staying hot’? Easy eh…

That is what a good catalyst does – it combines the core ‘whys’ of both good (why I want to go to the gym) and bad (why I don’t want to go to the gym) forces together to get a BETTER, WORKABLE RESULT for the same overall GOAL, to an existing positive endpoint, as the more general the goals, the more options there are – thinking that getting fit HAS to equal GYM is just fucking you over before you even start. The key to this method is to try to plan to do it in that seq 3-1-2, not just by accident, as in the ‘you the Fox’ example above, the Fox does not have to get faster, because he finds pre-killed food, but they did not plan for this, it was an accidental catalyst, and that only really works for desperate animals, in a kill or be killed 2-1-3 pattern. You need to see the normal way you approach things (fitness = gym?) often prevents the right catalysts from appearing, as you are STUCK AT THE WRONG LEVEL OF THINKING, those thoughts are actually a negative pattern disguised as normal thinking, which is the curse of 2-1-3 activities, they are doomed to failure for everyday stuff. Indeed some 4th ways actually refer to this activity seq as the ‘Law of Accident’, as it only ever works by delivering a catalyst to produce a result at the end seemingly out of the blue, and requires a massive amount of force, of desperation, of hunger, of terror to deliver anything that looks like your goal, like it did for ‘you the Fox’…

So by now you should have copped on to the key to using the 3 force model – let your Willpower set the pace, decide at the beginning by analyzing your main x2 Why’s, positive and negative and finding a way to satisfy them both. Don’t rely on it sailing in at the end when the fighting between your petty little wills is already on-going, that is dangerous and foolish. Use your Willpower model to DECIDE, particularly in personal development terms, AT THE BEGINNING, before the deployment of your forces. Think about it beforehand, and then DO IT, in sequence 3-1-2 is the puppy and you will win, as long as you create the ENERGY TO DO! Yep, never forget you NEED all 3 forces, even when you get strong enough to override the resistance, the 2nd force like it is nothing, you still need it because that ‘friction’, that ‘feeling it’ but ‘not submitting to it’, that ‘suffering for you goal’ creates the energy you pay to get that goal – you must pay for what you want, one way or another, and the bigger that change is, the more it costs. That’s why it’s mind magic…

Do you get this? No..? Ok, I’ll spell it out for you… The No.1 reason folks get confused with this x3 force model is they confuse the process of making a decision using A PLAN and the process of doing that decision, of carrying out that PLAN – you consider the decision as part of DOING the decision at the time, BUT THEY ARE TOTALLY SEPARATE. There are no FORCES active when you are considering/making an actual Decision, there is no feeling, no excitement ‘of doing’ or resistance/dread in you driving you to ‘not doing’, it is an abstract process and you are not committed until you have MADE IT, YOU HAVE FIRMED UP YOUR PLAN, as you don’t need to DO IT, to commit to IT until after you have made it. Your forces are not active until you start the process of DOING, that is when you feel it..ok? The process of THINKING in a directed way about a possible decision and then DOING the result of that decision is totally separate and must happen before.

Ahhh, you say…’I make abstract ‘decisions’ to improve myself all the motherfucking time, and I NEVER do a single one of them…’ Yep.. I know you do, so let’s be clear about why that is. First, YOU HAVE NO WILLPOWER BECAUSE YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS YET, indeed even to say you have lots of little ‘Wills’ is overstating it, better to say you have lots of ‘preferences in the moment’, you are too feckless and moody to even be consistent with your Wills, they come and go as your thoughts turn from this to that, so you can never consciously DO, it all one big ‘accident’, as you can NEVER HAVE A FIXED GOAL WITHOUT WILLPOWER. Second, you don’t make a DECISION, so you have no process of DOING, ie you do not direct your thinking in terms of a plan, you have no plan at all and just stumble into DOING, you ‘free form jazz’ it, because you think having a Goal is enough, but you never made a Decision to DO at all, as a Decision means you make a PLAN, a process otherwise it is just wishful thinking. Third you have a goal and a decision to DO but you use the b/s that is the 2-1-3 plan model to DO, without any 3, any Willpower (any power at all frankly), so you are doomed before you even start, you are not even using it correctly. Fourth, even if you do have some power at the end, even if you are naturally gifted (and lucky) enough to have some force you STILL do not use it correctly, you do not use it to FORCE ‘YOURSELF’ TO TRY HARDER, as this is the only thing you can do with the 2-1-3 model, to get ‘past’ the obstacles of the method, you are too weak and stupid, so you JUST BLAME SOMETHING ELSE AND GIVE UP LIKE A BITCH.

Thats all fab and groovy, but ‘how DO I fix that in reality’, you wail.. easy, say’s I.. YOU MUST START ‘DOING’ IMMEDIATELY YOU SET A GOAL AND MAKE A DECISION TO DO IT. See starting is the Golden Key to anything, but you don’t start because you don’t know the difference between a GOAL, a DECISION, and DOING. As above, a Goal is a WHY, a Decision is a HOW and DOING IS ‘NOW’ – you only ever START anything when you start DOING, before then its all in your head baby, those Forces are dormant. If you can’t start now, you SCHEDULE it but better to DO SOMETHING RIGHT FUCKING NOW. This works like magic, and the reason it works like magic is that the x3 Force model works by itself and you just need to play along – ONCE YOU HAVE STARTED this process generates momentum and happens anyway. But you don’t start immediately because you are stuck with the shitty 2-1-3 model as you only model of doing, and you must get what this really means – RIGHT NOW TO DO ANYTHING NEW IT HAS TO BE A PROBLEM TO START WITH, you must have Force 2 to work against, or you will DO nothing…

Take a moment now to try and understand what that means for your life…

Yep…. scary eh? So just so you know the truth, I will tell you this… I grew up in a parallel world to the one you live in, one where the turbocharged version of the 2-1-3 model was the ‘manly’ standard, a sort of ‘rite of passage’, a test where you actually went looking for the biggest problems and beat them. See you kinda had to WIN, to DO it that way, or you ceased to exist, so I developed some understanding of how to make it work, long before I knew why. See, if you are going to use the 2-1-3 model to DO, you have to get very, VERY UPSET, VERY EMOTIONAL at the end of the process in the moment of DOING, so you have to learn to get REALLY FUCKING MAD AT YOURSELF, and then you have a chance that the RIGHT (essential) catalyst will come to you, or happen externally ‘by accident’, like it did for our starving Mr Fox in the prior example. And even that won’t work all the time, so get it in your head now… the 2-1-3 model of DOING is what I learned to call the D.O.G. approach to life, the ‘Death or Glory’ way of living, and that’s just not you… is it, you’re just not that Badass, very few are. So know if you are going to keep on with this animal shit you need to find your inner Hulk…

So as part of your ‘change of mind’ you will need to practice this for decisions focused on your spiritual development, so get used to taking some time to call up the 3-1-2 model into your mind in order to consider the decision on this basis, bounding back and forth over it, dispassionately, playing with it, considering the pro ‘why’s’ and the con ‘why’s’ of you little Wills, finding a pleasurable catalyst by combining them AND THEN DECIDE TO DO IT using the 3-1-2 model you have just used to DECIDE. The x3 forces are mind magic, they deliver a perm result when used correctly at the time AFTER YOU HAVE MADE A DECISION, they are NOT abstract, so plan to use them wisely BEFORE YOU START DOING, don’t just drift into doing without a fucking scooby do (clue). Yes, later you will be able to do this is a few seconds, indeed you will be able to use other variants/triads of the x3 force (eg 1-3-2) that are EVEN MORE EFFECTIVE than the 3-1-2, when you no longer need to ‘compromise’ with your ‘animal’ self, as your Willpower has grown to a level that you can simply set yourself any goal and ‘just fucking do it’ – you have so much momentum you actually go looking for obstacles to ‘eat up’ at the end of the process to further empower you to do bigger and bigger things, when you happily seek out more and more ‘friction’ to be able to ‘afford’ bigger goals. But that is for later, when you have some control so stick to 3-1-2 for now as it teaches you the process of this way quicker, way more logically,way more acceptably to you than the others. Clever eh?

So to end this bit I’ll tell you a juicy teacher secret – the folks who make this work, who really get addicted to this way of DOING stuff, are the folks who ALREADY have a marked tendency to enjoy suffering as a form of ‘rite of passage’ pleasure – so they can bare it without submitting to it. No, this is not creepy S&M shit, they don’t confuse mental suffering and pain WITH pleasure, as that does not work in terms of payment because you submit to it and lose all the benefit (much as its an aberration of exactly the same effect that some gifted get stuck at). Think of it as suffering under a cold shower, bearing that feeling until it slowly goes away as you get used to the water temp, rather than tensing against it (which actually makes it worse). They have to remain separate, you just KNOW that OVERCOMING suffering as a form of ‘uncomfortableness’ makes the ‘money’ you need to pay for what you want, so mental suffering becomes the anticipation of pleasure, is the best way to say it – you realize why people like me say you NEED this stuff to be hard, you enjoy it more BECAUSE ITS HARD and in the end you only want another ‘challenge’, as that is your NEW ATTITUDE TO LIFE. However, the f0lks who really struggle with this are the folks whose lives are dominated by seeking comfort, the entitled little munchkins of the world, as they have no tolerance for any kind of suffering, so any resistance, any level of the 2nd force will stop them dead. They even have a marked tendency to crave causing suffering in others, as they slowly become parasitic, gutless little creatures.

Think about this… and you might find you suddenly understand the ancient Greek saying ‘Virtue is its own Reward’, indeed the unschooled but highly gifted amongst you may even get why your Gift makes you suffer so very badly for a very discrete subset of your Desires, the things you wish you did not want so bad, as withstanding this suffering, overcoming this, even smiling at that suffering is the ONLY WAY YOU WILL EVER GET THEM. ‘Pay’ attention to these Desires, the ones that never seem to go away or pass like all the other random dead leaves blown across your path in life, as clearly your Gift thinks they are VERY important…

Lastly in this thread, I need you to get this practically, before you can actually DO IT. Yep, its no use just trying to sit down now and use the 3-1-2 model, struggling to find the Confidence to implement a decision based on a compromise of the Whys behind your pros and cons for any activity, that you have considered and settled on as an actual Decision. See, you have no idea how to do that, you have no Willpower and you don’t have the level to use that Willpower anyway. So far this is all the philosophy of the x3 forces, the way shit actually happens in this world, and the theory of you learning to use those x3 Forces, in the 3-1-2 model to develop yourself. However, it is really useful at this stage for you to get a handle of how this currently works for you, in the animal 2-1-3 model you are currently forced to use, however badly, to actually see it working, as this process is a form of the Catharsis you will use later, much as that process is all about the ‘personal development’ of your Being, not achieving goals in the world.

So take a moment now and consider this – you must get used to the process of Deciding and the process of Doing being distinctly different, and being separated by the key step of STARTING. Deciding is a two-part process, first you set a goal, a ‘why’ (eg getting fit, which is actually the far more motivating goal of looking HOT), and then you make a decision based on the process you will use to achieve that goal (eg going to the gym). Then you START, a distinct milestone that comes after Deciding, you commit to that Goal and Decision by ‘Scheduling’ that decision in reality (eg Now or next Tuesday). Be clear – until you START, you have done nothing, so its a really good idea to DO SOMETHING CONNECTED TO THE DECISION YOU HAVE TAKEN RIGHT FUCKING NOW, even if its just to tell someone else, place an online booking, get your gym stuff ready, ANYTHING.

Then you get on with it, but with one little exception – you look for the 2-1-3 model in what you are doing, and you start to manage it, use it like it is supposed to work. So when you start to DO in the moment, you look for the 2nd Force you have already found to manifest, the obstacle you actually need to DO the 2-1-3 process of doing, and then oppose this with your 1st force, your desire to achieve your goal with this version of the decision, the plan you have already chosen, going to the gym. Then when you get locked, when you get stuck between your pro and your con, you introduce your 3rd force, the Catalyst in the only way you can at your level – YOU GET MAD AT YOURSELF. Really are you such a fucking pussy that you cannot get your fat ass out of the chair and GO to the fucking gym when you said you would, is this what you have become now, some MEDIOCRE CHUBBSTER, slowly declining into some bullshit routine of ‘comfort is king’, because you are one more self-serving, self-righteous fake NOTHING – kind of thing. Literally, talk to yourself in the 3rd person, use your first name and shout if you like, direct the emotion at stupid ‘animal you’. Then see what happens…

The final segment of this post…

So now we going to give you a flavor of how you do DEVELOPMENT… to touch on the actual model that you will use to develop, with this system – what you will use these new skills ‘Willpower’ and ‘Doing’ to achieve, the x3 routines of the FOUNDATION METHOD – TO CREATE AND CONSERVE ENERGY.

And the good news is that you can start this stuff right now, even before you have the Willpower and the level to use that Willpower to DO them correctly, as just practicing this stuff WILL HELP RAISE YOUR LEVEL. However before we start it is important to remember these are not the only things, as the main one has already been listed in the Secret of Attention, to break your state of Attachment, as we have already said – all these 3 things follow on from that core routine.

So here are these 3 routines to this method – they work well together but they are all quite separate in nature, 

  • Conserve Yourself – STOP DOING useless, wasteful things, stop pissing yourself away by CHECKING YOURSELF
  • Control Yourself – START DOING useful important things by COMMANDING YOURSELF
  • Focus Yourself – HAVE A GOAL, don’t drift around like a feckless slave, SET POSITIVE EXPECTATIONS.

Currently, you don’t DO anything like this because you LIVE LIKE A MAD ANIMAL, you are controlled by YOUR INSTINCTS, which are simply FEAR – THE EXPECTATIONS OF PAIN IF YOU DON’T DO and SELF INTEREST – THE EXPECTATION OF REWARD IF YOU DO ACTUALLY DO.

But that is not all of it, not even the worst of it – you also seek to retreat from life and find bland meaningless comfort, a sort of ‘early death’ that is the retired way of living… YOU SEEK COMFORT AS YOUR PRIMARY GOAL IN LIFE, you utter fool, as your precious Comfort WILL KILL YOU IN THE END – COMFORT IS FOR THE TERMINALLY ILL, THE FOLKS THAT ACTUALLY NEED DRUGS AS A KINDESS BECAUSE ITS ALREADY OVER. See you are a slave to yourself, so you are forced to do everything, and that makes little you really tired, just because you have that stupid little attitude –  to get slightly richer so you can have more FUCKING COMFORT, that’s is for slaves. Tiredness is for slaves, IT IS SLOW DEATH.

REMIND YOURSELF OFTEN THAT YOUR PRIMARY GOAL IN LIFE IS TO BECOME THE REAL, MAGIC YOU. There actually is nothing else worth a damn…

So, for the GIFTED ALL OF THIS HAS TO START WITH ENERGY, DRAMATICALLY IMPROVING YOUR ENERGY LEVELS. Then you can actually TRY HARD, all wide eyed and scary, and overcome the piss poor habit of putting the VERY least amount of effort into everything you do, like a fucking slave – see slaves don’t try, indeed slaves are actually slaves because they don’t TRY, they don’t commit to anything as ‘down by the riverside, there’s bound to be a better ride, than what you got planned…’ (Sorry, The Bangles). Face it, for most of your life you simply ‘dial it in…’, but sadly that shit is not going to work for us, as you must TRY.

Fuck That – I hear you cry, no cheap thrill then no interest, eh? Stop reading by stuff son, you are a slave for life… See ya, would not want to be ya.. You need to VALUE YOURSELF, have the ambition to be better OR JUST FUCK OFF. If you are not yet convinced but still interested I’m really sorry, but the rest of us need to get on, so big HUGS to you, missing you already…

See before we touch on these 3 areas I need to quickly cover off one of the more stylistic elements of this, one of the requirements to turn you into what we call a SERIOUS person, specifically what ‘Trying’ is. See Trying requires resistance to generate friction which becomes available energy through the processes below. Trying ONLY works IF IT CREATES FRICTION, so there has to be resistance, that is the ONLY TIME TRYING COUNTS. If it’s easy it is worthless, you have done nothing – YOU HAVE TO STRUGGLE AGAINST SOMETHING TO TRY. Trying is like lifting weights, if the weight is not heavy enough nothing happens AT ALL. You must treat these skills like muscles, like you are bodybuilding. It does not even matter if your muscles actually get bigger, you MUST get stronger, particularly at the beginning, and you are as well to think of all of this as adding ‘tone’ to your muscles, rather than size. Size only comes when you already have strength, not before, and strength is about FOCUS, about all the separate bits of you involved in these movements working together. Therefore when you Try you must LOOK FOR THE RESISTANCE, THE CHALLENGE AND BE GLAD OF IT, as without it nothing will happen – whatever version of the 3 force model you use you must CREATE ENERGY BY MEANS OF STRUGGLE. Got that?

So lets give you a quick taste of each of these 3 mundane sounding but actually magic little skills in order, just remember you need to force your conscious level up a notch by really watching yourself in the moment when you are trying, otherwise your animal self will just keep doing this shit and ‘you’ won’t even notice until afterward. Pick a time or scenario to TRY this, prepare yourself beforehand…

Conserve Yourself – there is a range of HIGHLY destructive activities you DO every day, that are a core part of your current low-level character you must learn to stop, using your Willpower AS THEY EAT YOUR ENERGY. The list is quite long but the top x3 are orders of magnitude more than the rest put together, so here they are..

You must check yourself as often as possible to STOP the following, and I mean all of them – they are all comforting behaviors you learned as a child, but we are Grown-Ups here:

  • Stop Expressing Negative Emotion – its fine to feel negative, to be mad, anxious, sad, but you just need to bear it OK? For most Male hedonists expressing your rage is a way of life, reacting instantaneously to every little mood swing like a child, but you have to stop and control yourself – there must be no change in your countenance when you feel BAD. You must practice this with people in difficult situations too, no point doing it with your dog, expressing just one really bad emotional urge fucks you for the whole day, sometimes several days, no matter how gifted you are. Yep.. never wondered why rowing with your partner is so exhausting. Because it actually is, at a spiritual level, it’s a killer… Be happy OR shut the fuck up.
  • Stop Using Your Imagination To Think – Stop wondering ‘what if’ as a fantasy, as an image, stop imagining things are different, what you want as a daydream, stop ZONING OUT – IT TAKES HUGE AMOUNT OF ENERGY TO DO THAT. And many if not most hedonists walk around in a partial fantasy every day, with screens and binge-watching cult TV, games, porn being the major drivers of this type of behavior. Think with words, and stop thinking after the need to think has passed. Don’t think with images, don’t IMAGINE ALL THE TIME, stop as soon as you catch yourself doing it. Whatever you think about must be real, not un-real, not a fantasy that cannot happen, think about shit that CAN HAPPEN.
  • Stop Rambling, Gossiping, All Other Talk for the Sake of It – Think about what you are going to say before you say it, don’t express all your energy through your mouth in a random, ‘no clue what I actually think or feel’ silly way, all that the need to be polite. There is a power in quietness you would not believe, yet all you have to do is RESIST the urge to talk for NO FUCKING REASON. If possible don’t even think this shit, snuff out those thoughts as soon as they occur, UNLESS THERE IS A REASON TO TALK. Much as it is a smaller leakage than the 2 above it is far more often in the day and far worse because of that. Do what I do, learn to casually communicate with a look, an expression, a nod of the head, that what those gestures are for, as talking can lead to quite bad things…

Everyone has all of these but there is always one that dominates you, and its impossible for me to predict which it is, much as negative emotions, being ‘moody’ all the time is the most common in my experience. On the other hand, a lot of folks are BIG talkers of b/s, and some live their whole fucking lives in their imagination, simply because they think it’s normal.  You must find out which is your biggest loss and stop it, you must study yourself to be able to see yourself, and that is always most effective when you look at what you actually DO, without any justifications for why you DO IT. You are what you DO, never forget that, your animal self is playing tricks on you to get you to keep doing often quite horrific things, while you think it’s ok, for some totally made up reason, and that is a BAD thing…

Now the worse one to deal with by far is actually imagination, as it difficult to relate to for many people, particularly women, as they believe it is normal to live in a type of fantasy world where you automatically see things in your mind the way you would like them to be or you imagine the worst all the time – you think that is how your mind works, but it’s not true. Living in a mild daydream, where you correct reality to your own model all the time, make things better or worse is a VERY nasty habit because it will fool you into thinking many things are true, even things about your gift, about your development, so it is far better to see the world and particularly yourself as what you DO in the cold light of day. If you do or have ever taken a lot of drugs casually, everyday, this issue can get out of hand very easily, and it is a very common way of going slightly mad, to justify everything your weak and stupid self does as being ‘OK’, because of this fantasy opinion or that one you HAVE to cling to, otherwise you are a pretty nasty little creature, aren’t you. Please be brave enough to burn it all down, deal with the real, it’s the only way out, and the greatest gift you will ever give yourself. SO LOOK BACK AND JUDGE WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO AS THAT IS WHO YOU ARE, NOT WHAT YOU THINK YOU DO, AS THAT IS ALWAYS A JUSTIFICATION.

Next, Control Yourself Directly, combined with Focus Yourself  – have a meaningful goal for anything you do consciously, that is not a habit by managing your EXPECTATION… Think before you DO and then actively command yourself to ACT with the Expectation you will succeed at a defined ‘result’. Yes, these are different processes but you must combine them together to develop them together, they cannot be done separately at your current level.

Now.. for the gifted this is a magic skill, as it works straightaway, while animals need to practice a lot. This is a lovely way to practice relating to the animal you in the limited third person, ie it is not you but you know their feelings, as they are not your feelings anymore – it is a major part of Deputy Steward that will be explained in that secret. But that is not the point here, here we are trying to get you to use this as the habit of goal orientation, to stop you just drifting into shit like a reactive little fool, to be led around by whatever ‘happens next’.

See, animals don’t plan much, they react to what they want and what they don’t want and to what happens around them. That is how animals live every second of every day, there is no stated goal – they are led by instinctive feelings, by their petty wills, as they are not conscious of being conscious like you are. But that is how you ‘choose’ to live, loads of thoughts and feelings all in response to something ‘else’, yet not focused by you on what you want, which is frankly bloody stupid, and somewhat dangerous. You live large parts of your life like a dead leaf blowing in the wind, hence you never do anything different. You live your life as a First person story, wondering what is going to happen next, while never stopping to make what you want to happen next actually happen. Even just to be better at life you need to focus and commit to your activity by setting momentary goals, as a set of EXPECTATIONS, as that is the magic mind trick to do it. Yep the key to goals is not to state to yourself what you ‘want’ to happen, it is to change your expectation of what is actually going to happen – GOALS ARE JUST AIMS, DREAMS, EXPECTATIONS ARE RESULTS. Focus on the actual result, always…

Now, to get out of the habit of using the First person narration style of your life, where your thoughts and feelings appear to be what ‘you’ are thinking is quite easy, you just need to narrate what you are doing, by observing yourself do it. Much as this is really just seeing yourself in the Second person it is only a stop on the way to learning the trick to full 3rd person, objective thinking. The key is when you are observing yourself in the 2nd person, wondering what you are going to do next, is then to briefly take control while in this observer mode, by giving yourself an instruction, and at the start that can be anything. While you practice this it can simply be to watch yourself doing something automatically, some little movement, then order yourself to stop while right in the middle of that little movement, as that is not what animal you wants to do, the animal you wants to continue with the pointless little habit. By doing this it re-inforces and builds 3rd person consciousness because just doing that slightly raises your level. Cute eh?

What you need to learn is that every time you catch yourself doing something you already know is stupid, wasteful, or pathetic is to consciously JUDGE yourself and then ORDER yourself to stop, literally say the words to yourself. If you get used to doing this it will grow the foundation for Deputy Steward very quickly, some highly gifted folks find it quite addictive as it is a way to get shit done with little further thought. HOWEVER, in order to make this ordering yourself about thing work, you must set the expectation of success and build the habit of having what is best referred to as ‘positive expectations’ – you have no doubt you can succeed at that goal, all you have to do is DO IT. Some time ago in another post I used the example of picking up an expensive jacket you dropped on the floor through laziness – you catch yourself doing it, you make a stated judgment, ‘thats stupid’, and you order yourself to pick it up, as you KNOW for certain you can do that. Your expectation level is 100%, AS LONG AS YOU ACT NOW, and any gap between the instruction and the action is your animal wills’ intervening against the real ‘you’. This is the way you practise this habit, in the small things, when you know you are certain of success, because repetitive success is what you are looking for here…

Now this is the really important bit – you must understand what Expectations really are, as part of the real you that actually knows what’s going to happen. Yep, for most things in your life, however remote from you in time and space they are, real you knows what is going to happen, and sets your Expectation accordingly. See, like most people you buy a lottery ticket and you expect to lose, and you are right, the odds are massively against you, and you still do it and you still lose – so now you will always lose, as that Expectation becomes your GOAL, to lose, BUT GIFTED YOU CAN DO WAY BETTER THAN THAT IF IT JUST KNEW WHAT THE FUCK YOU WANTED. You must understand this, at a fundamental level – Expectations are based on reality, Goals are based on fantasy, a tedious dream of what you want, so to make them work they HAVE TO BECOME EXPECTATIONS. You must therefore change your Expectations, by learning the habit of Gifted YOU ordering animal YOU about… see its always animal you that fucks you, defeats you, Gifted you is actually on your side. It’s a mind trick – get it? 

As with everything else in this post the system of changing your Expectations is currently at a much higher level than you have, but you can start to practise, using the system above – give yourself orders in the moment that you 100% confident of. In this way you will start anything thing you DO in this way with more Confidence, as the habit of setting positive expectations grows and grows. Obviously, you can only do little things at the start, but 1-2 weeks in the highly gifted might like to TRY doing something where your normal expectation would be very low, ie a challenging conversation you normally lose – observe yourself before starting the conversation, then give yourself the ‘order’ that this time you will win, and see what happens. You don’t need to consciously TRY to do something different this time, just go with it and see what your ‘Gift’ can do. Can be a lot of fun this one, but if you get good at this fast try not to abuse it on stupid stuff, as you will weaken the whole magic of the Expectation process by starting to fail at stupid ones you don’t have the power to do yet, like winning the lottery. Build the muscle of this, then it will serve you well – it is part of Self Will becoming your servant, rather than your Master, You actually become the Boss of YOU, not its passenger, its slave.

Obviously, the key to this is to break your bad habits, particularly your ticks as they take your energy, but the point of this post is just for you to have a go, now. Use the 3rd person thing, narrate then judge yourself prior to setting an expectation for something you want to do, and start with minor stuff until you get good, start with cleaning the bath to a high standard, or choosing a to leave the house looking hot, instead of looking like some fucking vagrant when you go out for a quick coffee on Sunday morning. In many ways using this type of ‘action with expectation’ is best learned as a habit, so using it on small things at first is the best way to learn habits, HOWEVER do not underestimate its power to change your life – most of your problems only exist because you were or still are to lazy to put the level of commitment in to fix the fuckers.

Before we end this final section x4 warnings when using the method of Self Control and Focus – much as you are only going to be able to play with this its important not to sabotage yourself right at the start.

First, don’t have negative GOALS at the start, goals that you try and find an expectation for as a resulting preventative measure. Your Gift is not able to detect the word ‘don’t’, or ‘not’ in your command syntax. If you want to NOT Do something focus on a resulting expectation that simply implies NOT doing it, don’t order yourself to NOT Do something. Think about giving positive orders in the language that works for you that closes off any ability or option to do what you don’t want to do. Later, when you have some level you will be able to use NOT as a command, but by then you will have subtly in your commands, so for now don’t even try it, as it can actually force you to DO what you don’t want to do EVEN MORE than before.

Second, in the previous section I mentioned getting mad at yourself when using the 2-1-3 model of activity as a way of delivering the third deciding force, as its one of the few ways you are currently able to do it. However, that is during activity, in the ‘moment of action’, when you actually deal with forces directly, in the middle of the process. What you are doing here, with this command and control system is PRIOR to that, so you must be as calm as possible when you do this. Don’t use emotion for this, just be very clear what animal you needs to do, preferably RIGHT FUCKING NOW. Then just forget you have said it, if you dwell on this you will switch back to listening to your Wills, so you are right back where you started. You always end the command with NO EXCUSES, as a full stop, as the end of the conversation, so now you just DO IT. After you have said NO EXCUSES there is no further mental engagement, you DO IT or YOU DON’T. If you don’t use No EXCUSES you allow your Wills to kick back with justifications, indeed you are actually asking them for the reasons they can’t do it, so ALWAYS END THE COMMAND THIS WAY.

Third, the particular style of ‘voice’ you choose to use is up to you, but I find being short, sharp and direct, with a little added criticism works for most males, while females tend to need a softer more friendly style with encouragement based on the reason for doing it. So for the jacket example from before blokes say ‘Pick up your jacket you lazy Dick, no excuses’ whereas women tend to use, ‘C’mon babe, that jacket cost a fortune, pick it up now, no excuses. Try both and see what works for you, but always judge on results rather than personal preference, so a certain degree of unpleasantness tends to work better as it works quicker, but it’s your choice. Important to like this style of your new self, however, so always go for a blend, as you will find yourself wanting to use it more and more if you do.

Fourth, setting expectations at the start must be kept SIMPLE and INSTANT, at a level you currently think is realistic, as your level is based on animal reality, so you must ‘believe’ it is possible in the here and now, that it is EASY, even likely, with a bit of luck. So while learning try and keep them to simple commands in the moment. Once able you should try more complex stuff however, but Don’t set any result that requires a miracle, a huge change in reality, frankly anything that would be out of the ordinary for you. It is a subtle thing but when you try it you will soon see that you can aim for things that are hard even now, JUST as long as the mechanism of the result is an everyday thing. If the mechanism of the result, say wishing you were far away from here right now requires you to travel through time and space in an instant the animal you won’t believe it, so you will have to set that expectation in the future, when you believe you could be there. You have to make it ‘real’, so set a result that CAN happen, even if only be ‘accident’, otherwise you will waste your time. So its perfectly possible for you to find a parking space exactly where you need one, you just need to be lucky, or its perfectly possible to ‘bump’ into that person you want to talk to but don’t know, you just need to go where you think they might be, where you have seen them before, and then set the expectation of talking to them. MAKE IT REAL, don’t ask to find money on the street today and then never leave the fucking house, OK – YOUR GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES. The best way to say it is to set everyday expectations for BIG things, put yourself in harm’s way and then LET THEM HAPPEN NATURALLY, break down what you want into smaller chunks if you need to do it as a process.

To finish this thread now, obviously you don’t need to be a genius to see that this process works for you quickly at the start by simply removing your negative Expectations, as you become aware of them. Indeed, everything you fail at routinely is based on a simple process of ‘failing to set positive expectations’ so you ‘are setting expectations to fail’, kinda thing. This is the core reason why you should never DO anything that you ‘hate’, as it’s extremely difficult to have positive expectations of it. But.. it’s important not to fool yourself – what you are learning here is the beginning of spirituality proper, of forming the middle character of Yourself, between the extremes of either little shoulder Angel, of your Animal Self and your Gifted Self. Try and get used to relating to yourself in this way and you will quickly find evidence of this being how YOU actually work…

To end this post now… I know we have covered a lot at speed but that is your lot for this one, thick end of 20000 words of it no less, so lots of info to try out, and have a play with, just remember to focus on the WILLPOWER bit first, as that is the enabler of the others. All of this will get a lot easier after the next 3 secrets, as they will give you some level, BUT get used to these things in the meantime, as they will show you at what level you currently have if nothing else.

Now it’s pointless to write a summary for what is already a summary post, but I will give you my favorite piece of all the advice contained in it. See for all the power and genius that is in developing actual Willpower, for all the ability to understand your failures and then DO that is contained in the x3 force model, for all the understanding of yourself that you can get from your Gifted activity style, there is one thing that can make a VERY rapid difference to you right now, if you can learn to do it – STOP EXPRESSING TRIVIAL NEGATIVE EMOTIONS LIKE A BITCH, stop whinging about meaningless shit you have no power or no inclination to do anything about. That emotion is POWER delivered to you by your GIFT because ‘it’ thinks you need it, in the moment, BUT that power is twisted by the animal you into pointless crap, that you then act out in some way, and its GONE. Acting out negative emotions all the time WEAKENS YOU, MAKES YOU TRIVIAL – it works like a heavily cut drug, feeling good for a moment before fucking you for days, and I mean that, huge negative emotions can destroy your better abilities for literally months, and at the end you NEVER really recover. Just bear that emotion until it passes or changes into something else, set an attitude in your mind now to actually look forward to those feelings BECAUSE YOU CAN THEN USE THAT POWER FOR YOUR OWN ENDS. That is what actually happens if you just sit with it, until it becomes something else, often some insight or other you never thought of before, sometimes even the power to DO… Get that – WHEN YOU FEEL THOSE FEELINGS LEARN TO SMILE AND TAKE A MOMENT, BECAUSE YOU HAVE JUST BEEN BLESSED BY YOUR GIFT, FOR THAT MOMENT. Yep, in Mathew 5:11 those bastards blessing you by scorning you, are actually inside you…

However, just before we end I want to cover off the ‘Self Help’ questions before they happen, as this post can read like a modern little ‘hussle harder, hussle smarter’ type crap that fills the internet these days to some people. Therefore its important to mention a KEY issue here, not with the content of this post but with YOUR perception of it, as we, like every spiritual tradition on this planet HATE PARTIAL, INCOMPLETE SELF HELP GIBBERISH. See, this one is a LESSON, and as such it can be taken as part of the modern bollocks that is Positive Thinking, a sort of ‘neo-nazi’ happy-clappy crap. This quick fix movement, arguably invented by a man who prided himself on his ‘self-help’ back in 1937, Napoleon Hill, is the DEATH of spiritual development, it turns you into one more partial fool, you CON yourself into thinking you are making progress with one thing or the other, while missing all the rest of it, so don’t be stupid – you need to DO all of it to develop your LEVEL. Hill, like ALL SELF HELP GURUs was actually a TOTAL CONMAN, a multiple fraudster who never had the jobs he stated, or met the people he said, even considered his failure to be part of the con, and this makes up the majority of spiritual teachers these days – selling you one thing as the title of a book. Yet folks still buy his books and believe his low-quality B/S, so just in case you read any of ‘Think and Grow Rich’, know the only quote in there worth a damn is this one – ‘Willpower and desire, when properly combined, make an irresistible pair’. What we are giving you here is the modern version of the 4th way tradition of spiritual development, it is not piecemeal, simplified self-help – DO ALL OF IT.

To finish I want to emphasize one thing, something that is implicit in all these posts and I mentioned directly several times above – animal you is a bit shit really. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t just mean ‘your’ animal you, I mean everyone’s ‘animal self’, and it really is time to see just how pathetic, how gutless, how delusional that is, and just how amazing GIFTED YOU SHOULD BE. One of the many benefits of this post is that you should now start to disengage from the belief in yourself as an animal, in terms of your animal WILLS, which define the tediousness of your relationships, the fantasy of your opinions, the mediocrity of your career, the pointless anonymity of your life, and start to see what you ‘could be’, as this will get you to take this path WAY MORE EFFECTIVELY, more seriously. We teach ‘Raja’ yoga on the 4th way, we teach the way of the ‘Aristo’, of Excellence for its own sake, rather than the way of the desperate, of the ‘slave’, that is every other mainstream spiritual tradition you have heard of. But the terrible irony of those traditions is that they do actually work to a lesser degree for the ‘desperate’, as the desperate have already lost all belief in the value of ‘their’ animal selves, and are prepared to try, for a little while at least, to get a bit better, out of necessity. You, GIFTED YOU, on the other hand, have to change your mind state simply because you accept you are not good enough, your level is not good enough, you are not smart or strong enough to see into your own true nature… yet.

That realization, that you could and should be MUCH BETTER THAN THIS, is one of the few things WORTH A DAMN – with it you can cope with this complexity, you can push yourself to enjoy the struggle and you can learn how to fucking TRY. I wish you good luck with it.

REMEMBER – what you REALLY need to change in your life to MAKE A DIFFERENCE NOW is your precious little point of view, YOUR TINY LITTLE PERSPECTIVE OF YOURSELF, THE VIEWPOINT OF AN INSECT, THEN EVERYTHING ELSE CHANGES, ALL BY ITSELF. ‘ANIMAL YOU’ DOES NOT MATTER, BUT GIFTED YOU DOES, GIFTED YOU IS MILES ABOVE THAT SHIT AND YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT… SO NO MATTER HOW ‘GOOD’ OR ‘BAD’ YOU OR YOUR SOCIETY BELIEVES ‘IT’ TO BE, KNOW YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT YOU ‘ARE’, AND THEREFORE WHO YOU COULD BE IN THIS WORLD.

So when you relate to yourself, judge yourself against something better, KNOW IT IS A QUESTION OF SCALE.

No need to hold an image of ‘all of yourself’ in your mind, all the time, yet.. No need to relate everything in the moment to the bigger picture of yourself, your status, your potential, yet… Just learn to laugh at the TRIVIA THAT MAKES UP ANIMAL YOU, as laughter, even forced laughter, is one of the only Catharsis triggers that works on everything, AS LAUGHTER IS A SOLVENT YOU HAVE NATURALLY – as a gifted child you did this all the time, before you started imitating your parents, society. So TRAIN yourself to AUTOMATICALLY laugh at the trivia of your negative emotions, as an instinctive reaction, and you will find it’s more than enough for now – it works like an industrial chemical solvent, breaking down that crap into something you can use… 

Then you will create the ENERGY you NEED to be able TO CHANGE, so read this post again if you did not get that…
